Our contributions to a sustainable world

Our line of work fundamentally contributes to increased sustainability: By providing efficient cleaning and handling solutions for recyclable containers, we promote the reuse of packaging instead of relying on single-use cardboard or wooden containers. This reduces raw material consumption and plastic waste while ensuring high standards of hygiene.

We recognise, however, that being in a business that promotes recycling is not enough in itself. We therefore work every day to step up our contributions to a sustainable world:

  • We offer products and solutions with built-in features and optional extras that reduce climate impact and ensure a safe and ergonomically correct working environment for users.
  • We work to improve our business processes to minimise the climate impact from our operations, and to ensure corporate social responsibility.

Our goal is to provide solutions which are energy efficient. We strive to improve and never become satisfied or complacent in relation to our results.

Our washing systems are built to recycle as much water as possible, reusing it in different stages of the washing process.

Our solutions enable recycling of plastic containers, contributing to reducing plastic waste and the use of packaging materials.

We advise our customers to use the right kind and amount of detergent to achieve good washing results and lower environmental impact.

We deliver our systems using less plastic packaging, reducing plastic waste while still ensuring safe and proper delivery of equipment.

We work actively to limit the amount of print-outs at our offices, reducing paper and ink consumption.

All Brüel catalogues and brochures are printed using Nordic Swan Ecolabelled paper which adheres to strict lifecycle requirements.

We do not use any kind of disposable cups, plates, cutlery, or similar.

We carry out many customer and stakeholder meetings online, reducing transportation and carbon emissions in connection with physical visits.

We are members of the Reusable Packaging Association (RPA), a non-profit trade organisation working to expand, innovate, and validate reusable packaging systems.

We always consider ergonomics and posture in our solutions, contributing to a safer work environment.
