Monitoring and QC systems
Process optimisation solutions that increase OEE
Brüel Systems offers monitoring solutions that give you an accurate up-to-date view of your assets at machine, pallet, or crate level, and we can help you identify process issues such as defective crates, low throughput, or equipment malfunctions.
You can maximise ROI and OEE (overall equipment effectiveness), optimise performance and productivity, prolong service intervals, and avoid unplanned downtime.
RFID
Asset tracking at crate or pallet level
- Up to date overview of all tagged assets, internally and externally
- Detailed tracking of asset movements and wastage
Pallets and crates can be fitted with RFID tags, allowing you to track them in detail through the process flow, internally and elsewhere. RFID tags can be scanned everywhere they go, allowing you to see exactly where a given asset is located and maintain a great overview of all assets – and keep track of wastage.
Vision systems
Optical input for automated processing and surveillance solutions
- Real-time overview of processing
- Facilitates intelligent crate sorting, distribution, and other processing tasks
- Provides a live feed for surveillance systems
Brüel Systems can add vision systems at several stages of your container washing and handling process. The cameras can be used for many purposes, for example interfacing with sorting systems to remove non-compliant crates, distributing crates by type or other criteria, or simply providing a live camera feed of production processes for surveillance systems.
Metal detection
Identification metal residue on crates
- Prevents rust formation on crates by detecting metal residue
Brüel Systems metal detectors detect label clamps or other metal components in plastic crates, allowing these crates to be removed for manual handling (removal of residual metal). This prevents rust formation on crates.
Barcode scanners
Asset tracking at pallet and crate level
- Up to date overview of all assets with barcodes, internally and externally
- Detailed tracking of asset movements and wastage
Pallets and crates can be fitted with barcodes, allowing you to track them in detail through the process flow, internally and elsewhere. Barcodes can be scanned everywhere they go, allowing you to see exactly where a given asset is located and maintain a great overview of all assets – and keep track of wastage.
DIAP
Take the guesswork out of machine operation
DIAP (Data Intelligence Analysis Platform) collects machine data to give you a complete overview of your production equipment performance. The solution gives you access to two kinds of information:
- OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) for your machine, calculated by multiplying machine availability (planned uptime) with its performance (current throughput)
- Real-time performance data such as pressure, water temperature, and detergent consumption. This includes historical data for the past hours, days, or weeks
With this knowledge, you can take the guesswork out of machine operation and make the most of your equipment investment, ensure maximum uptime, and detect equipment issues.
When your equipment is running, the DIAP data gateway collects data from the PLC system and sends it to secure cloud storage over a wired, wireless, or mobile data connection. From the cloud, you can access the data from any device with an internet browser. You can set up the system to automatically create and send PDF reports, and you can export raw data and alarm information for detailed analysis.
We can supply DIAP for new Brüel Systems machines or carry out retrofit installations on existing ones. We configure the solution for your system prior to delivery; it can be customised to include any kind of data that is sent from the PLC.
